Chinese Flowers

One thing I tried to teach myself in my Independent Art Study my senior year, was to do ink washes, and learn to control ink better.
One really awesome book Mrs. P had was this Japanese brush-stroke book, which taught me some pretty cool methods of painting.
I don't like this piece as much as the bamboo piece I did, which is hanging in my living room. But learning how to use the brush nonetheless was neat.
I also tried to do a bit of calligraphy....not that I even know what this says anymo'...
